Tai chi sign

Tai Chi

Tai Chi – improves overall fitness, balance, coordination, and agility. It has also been shown to lower blood pressure and heart rates, promote relaxation, and release stress and tension. People who practice it on a regular basis tend to have good posture, flexibility, and range of motion, are more mentally alert, and sleep more soundly at night.

Qigong sign

Shibashi Qigong – is a coordinated series of body movements that focus on breath, structural alignment and energy circulation. The exercises are designed to open up blocked energy pathways in the body and also help to promote natural healing.  Qigong practice is at the foundation of  “tai chi” and is also considered to be a form of  “standing meditation”.

Meditation sign

Meditation – and natural  breathing exercises focus on relaxation, mental centering and stress reduction.  These breathing exercises are at the foundation of tai chi and qigong mode.  Students will be taught how to raise their conscious mind body connection through gentle breathing exercises that require progressive skill to develop over time.
